Reflecting on International Women’s Day
When we work with clients, our best engagements are those that truly value the benefits that a marketing thought partner can provide. On this International Women’s day we would like to take a moment to say “thank you” to all those phenomenal women thought partners we collaborate with within our network.

Four Traits of a Thought Partner
At Andrew Perry, our definition of a thought partner includes these 4 key traits:
1. Asks High Level Questions
Challenges your thinking in such a way that it causes you to modify or change your paradigms, assumptions or actions.
2. Has an Open Mind:
Brings a willingness to listen, to understand, to talk, to clarify, and to give all comments the attention they deserve.
3. Is a Systems Thinker & Dot Connector:
Has information or a way of thinking that sees patterns across industries and uses that to provoke innovations and value creation in your business, career or life.

4. Is a Phenomenal Collaborator:
And last, but certainly not least, they live and breathe the idea that together we are better. After all, successful marketers must have collaboration in their DNA. They need to be able to build relationships that cross teams and organizations, and know how to bring different groups together to create value – inside and out of an organization. As this Helen Keller quote reminds us, the beauty is in the magic we create together:

So here’s a shoutout to all of our phenomenal women thought partners in our network! We see the important work you do and appreciate the creativity, ideas and resiliency you bring to the table every day!
